I always struggle to find nice holiday clothes, I feel like they come online too early to buy for an actual summer holiday. Then the next drop seems to be after I’ve come back! I bought a lot of my own clothes this year rather than accepting gifting/press samples from companies. This was a very conscious choice as I really didn’t like a lot of what I was seeing, it meant that I ended up shopping at places where haven’t in a long time and new places too. I was really selective in the pieces I bought and wore and I hope you all like them! Collectif Clothing Collectif X Modcloth Lauren Polka Fruit Swing Dress – Size 24* Collectif has collaborated with Modcloth and now they have clothes above a size 22! I have so missed wearing Collectif but now I can wear a size 24 and have some of their pretty styles again. I think the 24s are pretty spot on too if anything a tiny bit generous and I love it. It makes for such a comfy fit. I’ve got a Dolores from their Modcloth collaboration too and I love it. River Island River Island Plus pleated wrap dress in black and white – Size 24 Plus black print pleated midi dress – Size 24* As soon as I saw the black and white dress I knew I had to have it! I was so disappointed when I put it on and saw that the white part was actually see-through. Sure, I was on holiday so that’s great, but I actually wanted to wear this dress a lot afterwards. Especially for the price of £40, I just expected better quality. The printed version is the exact same material and style, but with the print, you can’t see through it at all. I really loved how comfortable and flowy these dresses are and I can’t wait to wear my plain black version! Boohoo Plus Pink Snake Plunge Slinky Maxi Dress – Size 26 Plus Floral Print V Neck Maxi Dress – Size 24 Plus Polka Dot Strappy Knot Front Maxi Dress – Size 26 I honestly cannot remember the last time I shopped at Boohoo, I never find anything that actually works on me, until now! I ended up buying 7 dresses in total from Boohoo and I loved every single one. So does my mum! The same dresses that Boohoo had were also in stock at Pink Clove, but just for more money. I didn’t wear all of the Boohoo ones as my mum mostly claimed them, but I managed to snap these three. I also have the polka dot dress in black too and it’s my go-to for nipping out for nail and hair appointments now. Super cosy and sized so big! The other two are true to size I would say. I sized up on the black and print dresses as I didn’t want the print part to cling, as it’s that sort of material. Pink Clove Plus Size Leopard Plunge Slinky Maxi Dress – Size 26* My wardrobe always has to have a couple of leopard print numbers and I absolutely love this dress from Pink Clove. I paired it with my bag that we got from the Spanish market for a pop of colour. It’s definitely a look I’m going to be able to wear a lot! Lady Voluptuous Lady Voluptuous Lyra – Size 22/24 I do normally work with Lady Volup but they were a little slow this year and some of the prettiest prints ended up selling out before they got back to me. Which meant I went on a very quick shopping spree to grab the prints I liked before they went too! You have to be super quick with Lady Volup as they sell out super fast and sometimes the prints aren’t repeated. The yellow dress is my actual favourite. I bought this within seconds of it going live whilst I was at the spa waiting for a massage! There was no way I wasn’t having this dress! Topsy Curvy Topsy Curvy – Size 26 This Topsy Curvy dress reminds me of one that I had a few years ago and I loved the print so much that I just had to relive it. Although it’s not something I’d wear a lot, I thought it was the perfect holiday dress and looked amazing against my hair. Again with this being of a clingier material, I thought it would be best to size up and I was right. It made for a super comfortable fit, with no clinging at all. Exactly what you want in the hot weather! Very  Spot Split Side Maxi Dress – Black White – Size 24 Curve Wrap Printed Maxi Dress – Tropical – Size 24 I look at Very all the time but I never really see anything that I like, that was until this order! I ended up buying 3 dresses but the third is still yet to be worn. I loved the AX Paris dress as soon as I saw it. It’s extremely thin, crêpe material which made it perfect for the hot weather. Not only that but it was split central! Cold shoulders, low v-neck and then a double side split. I had to change my Chaffree anti-chafing shorts to black because I was flashing them so much. Breezy but rather exposing! The V by Very Curve dress was fantastic though. Double splits and cold shoulder again but a slightly thicker material and not as exposing at all. I love the bright colours against my hair!
