Why Don’t Men Get Cellulite?

Tags: estrogen

Have you ever wondered why men don’t have cellulite?

Or why they seem to lose weight just by laying off soda, chips and beer for a few weeks?

Meanwhile, we count every calorie, keep a dedicated food journal, exercise like it’s no tomorrow and swear off chocolate and carbs only to see those stubborn fat cells holding on for dear life, refusing to budge after weeks, sometimes even months worth of effort.

Well, this unfair plight of feminine weight gain is not some dreaded curse from the gods. It is the culprit of Estrogen dominance, which is essentially having too much estrogen in the body compared to its partner hormone, progesterone. This hormonal imbalance is also related to breast, uterine and ovarian cancers. You can read more on a quick way to eliminate unsightly cellulite in this article.

There are a couple of reasons for estrogen dominance:

1. Through exposure to xenoestrogens. These are certain chemicals in the environment that mimic estrogen in the body. They look and act so much like natural estrogen that the body mistakenly accepts them as such.

2. Slow metabolism of estrogen. Sometimes estrogen reaches the liver to be metabolized but the rate of metabolism is too slow, leaving an excess of hormones circulating in the body and causes estrogen dominance.

We each have “good” estrogen and “bad” estrogen once it is metabolized. This is often measured by a ratio called the 2:16a ratio. It’s the ratio of “good” estrogen (2-hyrdoxyestrone) to the “bad” estrogen (16-alpha hydroxyestrone). As you may suspect, the “bad” estrogen behaves, well, badly and too much of it results in excess estrogen and is linked to many of the health challenges we’re currently facing including:

* Autoimmune Disorders (ex. Rheumatoid Arthritis)

* Breast Cancer

* Cervical Dysplasia

* Fibroid Tumors

* Infertility

* Magnesium Deficiency

* Osteoporosis

* Ovarian Cancer

* Uterine Cancer

* Zinc Deficiency

Two large medical studies looked at the relationship of the 2:16a ratio and the subsequent development of breast cancer via urine samples of thousands of women. Over the course of the 19 year study, they found that the women who developed breast cancer had a lower ratio of “good” estrogen to “bad” estrogen.

Luckily, we also know that ingredients found in the brassica vegetable family (such as broccoli, cauliflower and other cruciferous veggies) can greatly affect hormonal balance by positively impacting how estrogen is metabolized in our bodies.

What all of this means is that by simply testing your 2:16a ratio (which you can now do affordably and comfortably in your own home with an estrogen test) you can check if your estrogen levels are out of whack.

And if they are you, can start supplementing your diet with vital nutrients that help to eliminate excess estrogen and restore hormonal balance in your body. Thereby decreasing and even eliminating the toxins accumulating in your womb and reproductive organs every day.

Once balance is restored, you’ll never again be plagued by the dreaded “monthlies” or any of her ill-effects. Just imagine 60 days from now, being completely pain-free AND on the path to total healing, finally treating the cause of your pain and not just masking the symptoms.

The pain you’re feeling is your body’s natural alarm system and it’s telling you something ain’t right here. Why stifle it with over the counter drugs while the situation continues to get worse and worse? You can have the facts that will put you on the path to optimal health, naturally. What a relief it is to know that you don’t have to suffer any longer.
