The recce for the upcoming film Sadak 2, starring Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutta and Aditya Roy Kapur, has begun. Actress Pooja Bhatt on Friday shared a photograph of herself along with her father Mahesh Bhatt in front of a helicopter and with mountains as the backdrop. After a long gap, Mahesh Bhatt will be seen directing a Bollywood movie and for Sadak 2, daughter Pooja Bhatt will be his assisting director.

Taking to the Instagram, Pooja Bhatt shared a picture father Mahesh Bhatt and captioned it as, “And our recce for ‘Sadak 2’ officially begins! Time to fly into the skies with Mahesh Bhatt. Here’s to the start of a great journey and life-changing experience for us all.” Check out the picture here-

Sadak 2 is the sequel of Pooja’s and actor Sanjay Dutt’s 1991 hit film Sadak and will release on November 15, 2019. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt had said that Sadak 2 will deal with the issue of depression. The sequel will star Mahesh’s youngest daughter and actress Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapoor along with Pooja and Sanjay.

On father Mahesh Bhatt’s 70th birthday, his daughter and actor Alia Bhatt announced the sequel of Pooja Bhatt’s 1991 hit film Sadak. The film starring Sanjay Dutt and Alia’s sister Pooja came out around 17 years ago and it was a massive success with many touting it to be the actor’s best performance till date. Sharing the video, Alia Bhatt wrote, “A Mahesh Bhatt Film” followed by a heart emoji.

Sanjay Dutt will be playing the lead role in the film once again and he will be playing his own age in the film. While talking about the film to Times Now, Sanjay Dutt revealed, “Sadak 2 is a very emotional film. It starts with Ravi [Sanjay Dutt’s character]. It’s many many years later after Sadak, it’s a journey with this young girl who is Alia [Bhatt] and how she becomes a very important factor in his life to stay alive. It’s a very crazy character.”
