Well… I started the summer with big goals. One in particular, to become the ‘Queen of Sunscreen’. That’s right, my intent was to be militant about applying and re-applying sunscreen every time I ventured outside. Poolside, the plan was to wear an oversized hat to protect my face and of course look glamorous simultaneously. Every outdoor run would consist of a full pre-house lather 20 minutes prior for full coverage. Oh, and I can’t forget my favorite, playing tennis also fully covered, shielded from any rays while hitting balls on those 90-degree scorchers.

My plan started off strong in May and was pretty much down the flusher by July! Even with the best of intentions, sometimes plans fall short.  Now my summer damage has caught up with me and is showing its true colors—all over my face.  Looking in the mirror at my reflection all I see are increased sunspots, discoloration, rough and dry skin—yes, I had fun in the sun this summer!

Truth be told, it was time to rejuvenate…and quick!
