Kim K definitely popularized the oversized sweatshirt/t-shirt trend we've seen this last year, but the rise of the "corset belt" has upped this look to be more sophisticated, cinch the waist, and adds personality. Think it started from the abundance of ads for waist trainers the Kar-Jenners did?



Here are some of my favorite corset belts for different styles, along with my favorite ways to wear them.

Denim:
These go great with the denim on denim trend that's still going strong, and adds a grunge vibe I love as well.

Metal:
Are metals ever not in? Ok so technically it's not a "corset" belt, but it's similar in the look that it gives. I love these with black or dresses for night time.

Thin:
I really like these because they're much more wearable, and are great if you want to get into the trend but aren't sure where to start. Thinner sized belts can be paired with jeans to dress it down even more.

Embellished:
