A good Hair Spray is a staple product in every woman's life. We always reach out to our miracle-in-a-can to turn around a bad hair day! Agree girls? :D BUT - Did you know that a hair spray can be used in so many other ways (and not just on hair!)? No?! Then I'm here to tell you about these 9 hair spray hacks you can use in your daily life!
1. Use It To Remove Nail Polish
Want to remove your chipped nail paint but don't have a remover? Simply, spray a few spritz of hair spray on a cotton ball and use it to remove the nail paint. It works for the nail paint stains on tiles/furniture too!
2. Get Rid Of Lipstick Or Ink Stains
Lipstick or ink stains anywhere on the clothes are really frustrating! You can easily get rid of them in minutes by soaking the stained area(s) in hair spray.
3. Preserve Flowers
A few squirts of hair spray on flowers can prolong their life by a few days!
4. Groom Your Eyebrows
Nope, you obviously don't have to spray it directly on your eyebrows! :D Take an old mascara brush or a spoolie brush and spray a few spritz of hair spray on it, then use it to comb/set your brows!
5. Tame Flyways
Take a baby toothbrush and spritz some hair spray on it, use it to gently comb through the flyaways. If you don't have an unused toothbrush, you can use a paper towel.
6. Stop A Run in Fabrics
Fix a snag/run in garments with a few spritz of hair spray on affected area. Clear nail paint will also do the job!
7. Repel Ants/Mosquitos/Cockroaches or Bed Bugs
Using a hair spray just to shoo away pests may sound a foolish idea (since insect killers are far more cheaper :P) but trust me, it works! I have tried this method to kill ants and mosquitoes, just one spray and wooosh - they're gone! :D Deos too have a similar effect on insects.
8. Lock-in your shoes' shine
Use hair spray on your shoes after you've polished them with a shoe polish, It will act as an protectant.
9. Self Defense
Don't have a pepper spray for your self defence? You can use a hair spray instead!
