The two Fragrances were designed for those who believe in the power of positivity. Kenzo’s main idea was to present aromas that bring out joy, fun and happiness – one for men and one for women. That’s why he and the two of the world’s best master perfumers from Firmenich, Frank Voelkl and Olivier Cresp looked for ingredients that translate emotions into colors. This is how Avon Life Colour was born.

Avon Life Colour by K.T. for Her EDP
Floral · Fresh

This is a floral fruity fragrance locked in a beautiful bright bottle. It’s base note is Magnolia. Other key ingredients include pear and raspberry which leave a fresh and yet sweet feeling. The basmati rice is also another interesting ingredient to experience in the mix. The EDP has a good longevity, and has this typically Avon signature. It’s not my type of a fragrance, because I like more citrus infused ones. But if you are a positive and floral-fresh kind of person, you should try it. Especially considering the affordability of this fragrance.

Avon Life Colour by K.T. for Him EDT
Aromatic · Watery

When I was given the opportunity to feel both fragrances, this one became my favorite of the two – as odd as it may seem because it’s men’s. In comparison to the female edition of Avon Life Color which is Eau de Parfum, this one here is Eau de Toilette. Still brings that sense of happiness, energy and joy, but in a more discrete way. Even though both fragrances have Magnolia as a base note, one can never tell this about the men’s fragrance. I suppose this is because of the presence of Vetiver – a green, slightly sharp note with Earthy hints which makes the fragrance masculine. Especially when mixed with cedarwood, black pepper and absolute mate.
