NEW Céleteque DermoCosmetics Review and Swatches

A good skincare regimen and makeup arsenal are the basis of every gal's beauty routine. Some cosmetics however tend to dry out the Skin or clog the pores. To bridge the gap between makeup and skincare, Céleteque’s dermatologists found a way to create products that flatter your features while also caring for and nourishing your skin.

This is why Céleteque is so popular with its DermoScience skin care products, and even more so for its Dermocosmetics line. Céleteque DermoCosmetics are all dermatologically tested and hypoallergenic, fusing the benefits of quality cosmetics with the nurturing benefits of expert skin care.

Great news peeps! Your fave dermo-grade brand has NEW makeup products that offer a “perfect combination” of skin benefits: protects and nourishes your skin, as well as make skin look radiant and beautiful.

The Céleteque DermoCosmetics CC Micro-Hydrating Powder (P930) comes in light porcelain, classic natural, and deep beige shades. It hydrates your skin while controlling oil and shine and has SPF 30 to provide double sunscreen protection—a must-have in climates like ours! The pot containing the powder features an autogrinding technology that gives you an ultrafine and hydrating powder that evens out your skin complexion and is easy to blend. With a few twists, it provides just the right amount of product you need. It contains Hyaluronic Acid to replenish the skin and help it retain moisture, Silica to reduce excess oil and give your skin a silky-soft finish, and Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) to hydrate and nourish the skin even further.

The shade I got is Light Porcelain which suits my fair skin tone pretty well.

This powder gives me light to medium coverage when used with the accompanying sponge or fluffy brush. It gives me full coverage when used with my trusty Shiseido foundation brush. This is my favorite product from the whole bunch. It blots out shine and covers my pores, blemishes and uneven pigmentation very well. It controls oil and it takes around 3 hours or so before I need to retouch my T-zone if I want to keep it matte but it actually looks better when a bit worn in it since my skin looks very flawless with a bit of a healthy sheen to it. I love how finely milled the powder is. It looks great on my skin and does not look cakey at all. If you're looking for a powder foundation that has great coverage, has SPF protection and won't break you out, this is a really good drugstore option.

Wipe and wash off the day's worth of makeup and grime with an effective makeup remover, like the Celeteque DermoScience Advanced Anti-Aging Cleansing Oil (P249). This emollient cleansing oil can remove even tough waterproof makeup. Simply apply the on dry skin, lather on some water, then rinse and wipe off.  Aside from giving skin a deep cleansing, it also has Vitamin E and Aloe Vera that moisturizes and Phytosqualane that reduces fine lines and wrinkles. It is hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin.

For those looking for an affordable cleansing oil to remove stubborn waterproof or cream-based makeup like mascara and heavy foundation, this is a pretty good option. It removed my eyeliner and mascara pretty well and this is a good product to start with for your double cleansing routine.

Beat the heat with a mist! Use before make-up to prep your skin with a moisture. Celeteque’s Hydrolyzed Moisturizing Mist (P150) is formulated with Fuji water that contains minerals for skin rejuvenation, elasticity and suppleness. Use this in the middle of the day for an instant refresh!

I actually use this to prep my skin after cleansing or toning before I apply my moisturizer or serum. I also use this whenever my skin needs a moisture boost and to set my makeup. This is great if you're looking for an affordable facial mist. It does the job well, it contains no fragrance and doesn't break me out.

The Céleteque DermoCosmetics 24-hr Photoready Matte Primer (P825) helps your makeup look flawless for longeflawless look. Four components help this har, thanks to its silky, weightless formula that minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines and reduces shine for a smooth, ppen: Polymethyl Methacrylate to minimize pores, fine lines, and wrinkles; Silica for oil control and to give your skin a silky-soft and matte look and feel; and Dimethicone and Dimethicone Crosspolymer, which work together to form a protective barrier on the skin and helps your makeup last longer.

I love this primer! I can wear this alone when I want to fake a no makeup look. My skin looks poreless and smooth even without foundation or powder. This is a really affordable dupe to my fave Benefit Porefessional Primer.

If you’re on the go and need a one-stop-shop solution to add some bloom to your look, you may just find the Céleteque DermoCosmetics Moisturizing Lip & Cheek Duo (P665), available in Rosy Blush and Soft Berry, is a lifesaver. This oil-free and streak-free mousse contains Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), which acts as an antioxidant that protects your lips and cheeks from free radicals that lead to dryness, as well as Sodium Hyaluronate and Glycerin, which help your skin retain moisture better, making it firmer, softer, and smoother for a more youthful appearance.

These lip and cheek tints have a moussy texture that blend really well on the skin without feeling greasy. Pigmentation is good and it looks really natural on my skin. Love that it stays put for hours before I need to retouch. I prefer to apply it on bare skin before setting it with powder for a more natural look. It also has a light fruity/candy scent that I love. Rosy Blush is my fave since peach-pink shades look more natural with my skin tone.

For an extra-kissable pout, you’ll definitely want to carry around the Céleteque DermoCosmetics Ultra-Nourishing Lip Lacquer (P545), which is lightweight, smooth, and non-greasy and comes in three shades: Natural Nude, Soft Pink, and Velvet Red. This gel-based lip moisturizer will keep your lips soft and supple all day, thanks to a formulation that includes the hydrating and moisturizing Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), castor seed oil, and Panthenol, all of which contribute to softer, smoother lips.

I used to be addicted to lip gloss years ago. These two reminded me of my love for lip gloss. I wish they came out with more nude or peachy pink shades.

Get those peepers to pop with the easy-to-blend lightweight Primer and naturally toned eyeshadow found in the Céleteque DermoCosmetics Long-Wear Eyeshadow Palette (P725). It contains Shea butter, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), and Evening Primrose Oil, all of which help keep your lids moisturized and smooth and make the elements easy to blend.

The Céleteque DermoCosmetics Long-Wear Eyeshadow Palettes come in three wearable color-coordinated shades Warm Brown, Pink Orchid and Smokey Grey

Warm Brown is my favorite palette from the bunch. The warm brown tones are so flattering and perfect for an everyday look.

Pigmentation-wise this is the most pigmented palette from the 3 also. I prefer using a different eyeshadow brush/applicator from the one provided though for better color pay-off.

Pink Orchid is a really pretty pink, brown and cream palette. The colors are very flattering and feminine.

Pigmentation-wise the brown has the most color-payoff while the other two took more swipes to build this color on the swatches. Can't lie, they tend to be on the powdery side so a good eyeshadow brush is needed to blend the colors seamlessly.

Smokey Grey is the perfect palette if you're a fan of the dramatic smokey eye look (which I am not) so I'm gonna have to say that this is my least favorite palette from the bunch but that's just based on my personal preference of course.

Pigmentation-wise the black looked fairly decent after a couple of swipes. The grey one and the cream one however was more difficult to build despite the primer. As you can see from the swatches, I wasn't able to build a truly opaque grey swatch in the middle.

Overall Take
The Warm Brown palette is my favorite because it is the most pigmented from the three. Texture-wise they tend to be on the powdery side and the accompanying primer is not really suited for oily lids like mine. These palettes are perfect for women on-the-go, mature women since the primer is perfect for their lids and for those starting to learn makeup since they allow you to build up pigmentation. I strongly suggest using a different eye shadow brush that will allow you to pack on more pigment with minimal fallout and a different primer if you have oily lids. Not gonna lie, apart from the Warm Brown palette, I'm going to take a pass on the other two.

The Céleteque DermoCosmetics Eyebrow Defining Kit (P600) is a 2-in-1 formulation of Tinted Wax and color-complementing Eyebrow Powder containing Shea Butter and Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) to moisturize and smoothen your brow area, as well as Argan Kernel Oil to ease the blending process. The overall effect is easy-to-achieve definition for your brows.

Review
I admit I'm not really an eyebrow powder type of gal since I have very sparse eyebrows so I mostly use brow pencil. This brow kit does a decent job of shaping and filling-in sparse eyebrows. For more control and definition, I prefer to use a different slanted brush than the one in the kit. I love that you can also use the powder as a matte eyeshadow if you're in a rush. The compact is very sturdy! I dropped my makeup bag with this inside and the eyebrow powder did not break/crack.

Say goodbye to raccoon eyes with the Céleteque DermoCosmetics’ 2-in-1 Eyebag Miracle Kit (P745), which is a two-component solution to the dark circles under your eyes that may be caused by poor sleep, allergies, hormone levels, or even the food you eat or the genes you’re born with. The kit contains an Eye Balm to reduce puffiness under the eye and an Eye Foundation in light, natural, and beige shades to cover and lighten your eyebags. Ingredients include the trademarked Cytobiol Lumin-eye to reduce puffiness and under-eye bags; Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) to nourish, hydrate, and firm up the skin, minimizing lines under the eyes; and antioxidants like Ubiquinone, Squalane, and Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract, all of which help prevent further skin damage.

Review
Loved the concept of an eyebalm to prime the under eye/lid area first before applying concealer. The eyebalm has a waxy feel like that of a lipbalm so a little goes a long way. You need to wait for a bit to let the product absorb into the skin before applying the concealer. I used my trusty synthetic concealer brush to apply the product in an inverted triangle around my eyes and it worked pretty well with the Celeteque CC powder foundation. I apply this first and then I set it with the powder foundation for extra coverage but it also looks pretty decent on its own. I usually use a peach corrector first before a regular eye concealer to cover my dark undereyes completely but this looked pretty good on its own. I think this concealer would work pretty well for those who love yellow-toned concealers and for those with dry skin around the eye area.

Here's an #fotd of me using some of the products from the Celeteque DermoCosmetic loot I received.
