Who is this “Cool Peep”?
Hello, Friends! I’m Celebrity Chef Jacoby Ponder. In May of 2013, I was the featured final contestant on the Food Network hit show “Chopped”: Military Salute episode, I was the uncontested winner in September 2015 on Food Network’s latest toughest hit series “Cutthroat Kitchen” and I made an appearance on season eight of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. I grew in the small town of Monroe Ga. (about 40 mins from Atlanta Ga.)
What are a few of your favorite things?
A few things that makes me happy or rather I enjoy doing would have to be teaching, reading learning and studying history, the most favorite of all I would have to say cooking! I love being a Chef.
When you are alone and you think no one is watching you. What quirky things are you doing?
I often take time and talk to myself, LOL; Asking my self-question and then pretend to answer my own questions but in as a different character….
What is your favorite haunt?
I would have to say the beach, for unknown reasons I always find myself there.
Empty your pockets – right now? BE HONEST…what did you find?
I found a really big piece of washed receipt paper, 2 pcs. of gum and $1.38
What is one thing that no one would ever guess about you? (at least by looking at you)
I would have to say that I’m a really a nerd… peoples first guess because of my “Swagg” that I would be into the fly and fashion, hip hop and the latest trend. When in reality I’m the opposite.

What app would you DIE without?
Someone gave you wise words that stuck to your soul once – what were they?
It was my Minster at church years ago. He once told me that stayed with me to this day. “Failing is not a failure, it’s a learning experience, there’s a blessing in ever lesson”
Where can we find you next?
You can find me doing the latest and trending “pop up restaurant” tours all over the east coast, and if you happen to miss that you can find me on my flight to Zimbabwe as I head there late September to conquer the scene of African cuisine.
