Behind the Scenes at New York Fashion Week with Tracy Reese and Lela Rose

Mary Kay was yet again backstage at New York Fashion Week as the official makeup sponsor at Lela Rose and Tracy Reese. Mary Kay Global Beauty Ambassador, Luis Casco, created two gorgeous looks that perfectly fit each designer’s aesthetic and collection. WWD, Elle, People, Essence, Brydie.com, Daily Mail, Hollywood Life, Color Me Courtney, Style Pantry, Blue Eyed Finch, Sydne Style, Dallas Wardrobe, Style Scribe, and E Online, among other media outlets,  covered Mary Kay backstage. Read on for additional details and how to get each look.

For her Spring/Summer 2017 presentation, Tracy Reese broke with tradition and featured musicians, artists and notable people from the creative community alongside professional models. The “runway” and “real women” beauty looks were fresh and colorful, inspired by a whimsical secret garden in the city. Watercolor-inspired floral tones alongside notes of pink and purple begonia appeared throughout – pops of lavender on the eyes were balanced by a nude lip.  Designed to look beautiful on any skin tone, both looks were created for the natural woman who feels confident, empowered and bold, understanding that there is power in prettiness. This is our third season to  proudly partner with Tracy Reese. Find Luis Casco’s step by step directions for how to achieve the gorgeous look.
