Fall has settled in like a warm, snuggly blanket. It has crept in our coffee, our Instagram posts and most definitely, our closets. However, no Fall is complete with a comprehensive shoe guide, right?!
The first fall staple you need in your life, like yesterday, is a pair of gorgeous Steve Madden Over The Knee boots. I love these boots so much that I would give up pumpkin spice lattes (bold statement, right?) to have a lifetime supply. And, he also makes really really great and very popular combat boots. The Troopa 2.0 combat boots have a cult following and after getting myself a pair, I know why now. Anything Steve Madden is a winner in my book though.
Speaking of boots, let’s talk about fringe. I am obsessed with fringe boots this fall and probably wear my Kenneth Cole REACTION boots maybe too many times a week (nah, that’s impossible). But if I am not wearing fringe, I am probably wearing wedges. Especially these naturalizer black Ankle boots with a wedge heel. They are truly essential for almost every fall outfit choice. (UGH - so many shoes and only two feet!)
Next fall staple is the classic bootie (not to be confused with ankle boot, we’ll talk about those in a second). These booties by aerosoles add such a chic and polished look to any outfit. Now, onto the Ankle Boots. These are for the wanna-be-comfy-but-still-wanna-be-cute days. And NOTHING is more comfortable than a pair of Dr. Scholl’s ankle boots. Seriously, I could be wearing actual clouds on my feet and would still prefer my Dr. Scholl’s shoes.
Obviously I have to talk about knee high boots. They are the essence that is fall and you need a good pair to even get through the season successfully. Michael Kors can do not wrong in my eyes and these knee high boots are no exception.
The last fall staple is actually not a boot (*gasp*). It is a tassel loafer. These are snuck onto the scene and made quite the stir. Tahari makes an incredible tassel loafer that will make you feel like a fashion blogger and you’ll never want to take them off ever again - trust me, I am wearing them right now!
