My B-Day Style Summary

And my Birthday comes to a sweet end…

I woke up the next morning with the faint smell of the day of love (showered by people around me) still on me. But first. DRESSES! Yes, you heard that right, dresses make my day! We all deserve the best of what life has to offer and why settle for one when I can get TWO? Besides, my order exceeded Rs. 2000 and I got a 15% discount! Could it be any better? Total JACKPOT!

Anyway, back to my B-Day. I went for the Bohemian look for the leisurely brunch with my girls, obviously after my visit to the Spa ‘n’ Salon. Oh, you should have seen me rock that dress like I said you I would. I swayed my booty as I walked into the café in white pencil heels, my rose patch sling back, goggles on and of course, my favourite accessory, my Attitude- hot as hell. Hot enough to set any floor on fire!

As expected, I could see some eyes looking in my direction, checking me out. You must have the same question for me, like my girlfriends have. How do I get so much attention? It’s pretty simple. It’s because of the attitude I carry. But you must know, it took me a while to actually believe in me, which is absolutely okay. But now, even if I forget to put on lipstick or mascara but I never ever forget my killer attitude.

Just so you know, my thinner girlfriends have their own insecurities as well. It’s these big shot brands and fashion magazines. As if, no girl is ever thin enough! It’s high time we get done with the BS. Our real lives are so much more than their ideas and measures of perfection. I think, they are just a little jealous that they cannot handle the extra attention I get. But I am so over them, honestly!

Moving on to the evening... I slipped into my Little Black Dress for drinks and dinner with my one and only. Slipped on my red heels and applied the luscious red lipstick which I bought for myself that morning. Look at you, Miss Afamado, you are a vision. WINK! WINK!

As I was heading out the door, I realised that, may be, I needed to pump things up a notch. You see, with Mister Afamado I like to create the element of mystery sometimes. You know like keep him guessing while he tries to figure what he’s in for. So, I thought – what shall my attitude be for tonight? Cute and playful, or remind him whose queen?!

    Yeah, so that’s what I went with!

And from the way he greeted me when I entered the lounge, Mister Afamado thought so too!
