Removing Polish 101: ONLY wipe away Polish from Nail bed to nail tip. If you wipe away the polish in a “side to side” way it will damage your nails by making them peel.
Not only for your Teeth: Whiten nails (after wearing dark polish) with whitening toothpaste! Put a dot of the toothpaste on a toothbrush (for nails only) to scrub any stains from the nail.
The More the Merrier: Think applying 1 THICK coat will save you time? Nope. Apply a few (try 3) coats of THIN polish to your nails instead. It dry quicker & will last longer. Why? A thick coat dries on top first. The polish in lower layers takes a LOT longer to finally dry, aka more nail smudges. And – use THIS base coat that manicurists swear by!
Vinegar for the Win: Soak a cotton ball with vinegar, then wipe over each nail. Allow to dry, then add polish. The vinegar removes any oils/lotion/moisturizer (even nail polish removers have moisturizing qualities) which will extend the life of your mani!
NOT a Fan: Drying nails with or near a fan can cause teeny, tiny bubbles to your mani.
