Hello Hellooooo!!! Do you know which time of the year is this? It's Winter time!!! Though no one gave me the memo or a reminder that winter is here but it's not like I need because I am always waiting for this time to arrive. In Mumbai, winter surely doesn't exist but that doesn't mean that I can't make the most of it. There is a slight nip in the air and especially in the evening and at night it's just serene and calm.
I use that as an excuse to remove all my hoodies and jackets from the far back of my closet and start layering it up like crazy. Not just that but this is the best time to buy the most comfiest and the most erratic clothes ever. I luckily have few different types of winter Jacket which I was able to purchase because of a recent trip I made to Nainital. After that trip I just didn't get any chance to wear them but I had to come up with something because I truly missed my winter wear.
So I thought why not share a few winter wear outfit ideas with you guys. Not only will I be able to embrace the weather even though it's hot here in Mumbai but also share the various outfits I would personally wear if I had to go to a cold place like U.K, Scotland or Switzerland. I so want to go there right now.
I will be sharing 3 back to back winter outfit posts and this particular one includes my most favorite look out of the 3. This Chesterfield Coat immediately gives me the Gossip Girls visiting United Kingdom vibes. The color palette present on the coat takes me back to the architectural cobbled streets of London. The material of this coat is just perfect as the thin lining from within keeps you warm but does not stick to your skin,which is a relief as well as the material from outside is just cozy and does not wear off. The coat has the thinnest shoulder padding which gives a structure without making you look wide and heavy from the top.
This look will help you reminisce your childhood days as you can recycle and wear the skirts which you used to wear when you were younger but now they reach either just below your butt or are rather extremely short. Instead of throwing them away you can wear it with a pair of tights, full sleeves crop top and ankle boots and finally layer it up with a Chesterfield jacket or a pea coat. Even if you want to get rid of the coat, you will still look winter ready.
