Cuvee Beauty Luxury Champagne Haircare Review

What can be more festive, special and luxurious around the holidays than drinking champagne? Putting it in your hair, of course

For the past few weeks I’ve been indulging in this new luxury hair care line from Cuvee Beauty and I’m so excited about it that I couldn’t wait to ring in the New Year by sharing this with you!

What’s so special about Cuvée? First of all, it’s based on a revolutionary blend of champagne extracts and hair restoring nutrients called the Cuvée Complex™. These all natural and healthy ingredients are designed to restore shine and body to the hair in a way that is gentle enough to use every day.

The product I started using first was the shampoo and conditioner, because I’m always on the lookout for new shampoos. Especially after all the bleaching, heat styling and trauma my hair has seen this year, I REALLY needed something that I can use regularly and not only be restoring, but also to prevent future damage.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the bottles was the amazing scent of champagne and herbs (or maybe fruits?) that was so delicious that I was immediately mentally transported in a world of glamour and exuberance. Ever since I placed my new hair friends on the bathroom vanity, the entire space is filled with the intoxicatingly addictive Cuvee smell.

But does it work?

YES! I noticed a difference in my hair after just one use.

Now everyone who’s been following me for a while knows that my biggest struggle with my hair is frizz and the fact that it gets puffy at the first sign of humidity. After I wash and blow dry it, I have this huge pile of hair that just won’t conform and my only option is to use a hair straightening brush or hot tools to make it look decent. I know I know, the absolute CARDINAL sin for people with bleached hair!

But what else can I do?

Well I use treatments and repairing masks, oils or serum after each wash. It’s my only way to keep it healthy. Trust me, blonde hair is beautiful but oh-so expensive and requires a ton of maintenance.

So this is where Cuvee really impressed me! The treatment and the champagne spray really do work wonders. I first washed my hair using the shampoo and conditioner and afterwords I sprayed some Cuvee Protective Treatment on towel dried hair. What this treatment does is provide a primer for the hair that not only detangles and de-frizzes it, but also prepares it for heat styling by forming a protective barrier.

Next, I added a penny size worth of Cuvee Styling Balm and worked it in my hair, but keeping away from the roots. This balm can be used on both wet and dry hair and it tames frizz and also provides hold and shine without greasiness and that weighed down feel. You know… when you feel like you need to wash your hair even though you just washed your hair.

When I’m all done with blow drying my hair – which is every time I wash my hair because I hate the feeling of wet hair even for just 5 seconds – I spray some Cuvee Volumizing Mist at the roots to provide a little volume and bounce without the frizz.

Since I mentioned that I also try a lot of masks, I wanted to touch upon the potent Cuvee Premiere Treatment which is a strengthening treatment that helps repair and fortify the hair and balance the scalp.

While I leave this treatment on I have the perfect excuse to light up a Fig and Champagne candle and relax with a magazine, a glass of *ahem* champagne and a hot bubble bath. Because self care should come first.

Your hair is the crown you never take off.

And because I think it’s better to just see with your own eyes how amazing these haircare products are, I shot a little video review where I apply the Cuvee Shampoo, Conditioner, Styling Balm and Protective Treatment.

Thank you so much for reading & watching! Happy New Year!!
