i have the flu again + my university package arrived!

Happy Sunday everyone!

I'm feeling a little sorry for myself today as i have the flu. AGAIN. I've been getting the flu on and off for 4 months or so now, accompanied by throat infections and god knows what else! After several blood tests and doctors appointment it turns out..

!! Nothing is wrong !!

The doctors keep passing it off as being run down, but i've always been a run down person since i was a little kid. I get sick a lot and catch colds easily if i've been around someone that's been poorly. I get a lot of infections and it's starting to become a nucense. However the doctors are useless and have told me to wait another few months to see if things calm down 🤢👎🏻

But on a positive note, my University package arrived yesterday!! If you didn't already know, i'm starting studying with the Open University in a few weeks (officially). But all the books and software etc have been sent early and we can access the first module information pretty much straight away to get a head start! I'll be studying Computing & IT and a second subject. I think i'm going to go with Design, but it can be easily changed if i decide otherwise when the time comes. I've never been so excited for something!

I never found education easy having anxiety, depression and dyslexia, so i didn't do as well as expected at GCSE and i failed to make it to my AS Level exams. But i feel like now is a time in my life where i'm ready to conquer this and make a path towards my dream career (which i'm actually still not 100% on). I also enrolled on two extra mini courses just to top up my maths knowledge (i haven't done any maths since 2014 when i left school) and refresh my memory on the computer side of things as i haven't studied that in three years either, and i rarely find the time to play around with software programming or web design. They're 8 week courses, 3 hours study a week. I've been slowly working through those and now i've began to look at my module material ready for a couple of weeks time. It's all become more real! In six years time i'll hopefully be graduating and on my way to amazing opportunities 🎉

Wish me luck!!

I thought i'd just make this post a little chatty post cause i don't have the energy to plan anything too great, so the polls i've done on my twitter will be used in my next post instead of this one!

...

As i'm starting University i thought it was the perfect excuse to add a lot of cute kawaii stationary to my amazon wish list and i thought i'd maybe link a few in this post and see what you all think! I'm obsessed with stationary and anything pink and cute so these are all gonna end up being ordered, i'm sure.

The first obvious thing i thought of was a pencil case! I found this Pusheen plush type pencil case and thought it was adorable.

And then we all love a cute notepad!

Then we need some pens to fill that empty pusheen!

A little something for your desk to keep you organised at all times:

calendar for all those important dates!

There were so many more bits and bobs that i added to my list, but these were the main things (all ended up being pusheen!!).

That's all i can manage to write for today, i'm getting super tired so i think it's time for a shower and a nap.

Speak to you next time!! 💖

P.S. If you haven't already signed up for UNIDays go and do it now through my link and help me with my rewards target!
