Here is your low down on the biggest Beauty Trends of AW16 and there are some real corkers! I'm certainly excited to try most of these out, although not all!
Metallic Lips
I love this trend even more than the glitter lip! It's all very Barbarella (note to my younger readers - google it) It's such a exciting fun look and that's exactly what make up should be, as well as improving on our natural beauty, you should be having some fun with it too, especially coming up to party season!
You will see this on pretty much every beauty stand and online beauty store at the moment and in such a range of colours and shades.
Vampy Dark berry lips
Despite this trend slowly taking off back in the spring, it is a really big trend for AW16.
It has been see all over the catwalks recently and on countless celebs, like the ones below.
This is something that has definitely cemented it's spot on the AW16 beauty trend list, from a dark berry to an almost black gothic shade, it's certainly hot right now! As you can see there is a shade for all skin tones so just have a good play around and you will find your perfect match.
Graphic Abstract Liner
Now this is a little less realistic one and you may get some very strange looks if you were to copy this catwalk look like for like, but done in a subtle way, it can actually work really well and it's certainly a fun way to wear your liner. I will do a simple tutorial on how to achieve this look in a subtle way very soon.
Red Eyeshadow
Ok, this is one that may sound a little ridiculous and terrifying but actually worn in a subtle way can be really lovely as seen on the likes of Kirsten Stewart and Rihanna plus more.
A friend of mine actually tried this look recently after I'd given her the heads up about the trend and she was a little scared of looking crazy at first (I actually received an urgent text saying 'I need your help, I look like a crazy woman, what do I do?') but after some reassurance that she didn't and that it really suited her she was actually feeling pretty amazing about her new look and she had so many compliments on it. This is another one that I will shortly post a tutorial for.
The Glitter Arch
To me this one is a little too out there, but it may grow on us all?!
The glitter arch look which was seen on Gigi Hadid on the Catwalk below is set to be one of the big beauty trends of this season, but I have to say that it's just one that I'm not really feeling right now. What do you think of the look? leave your comments below.
Spider Lashes
Yes you read right, the spider lash is actually a thing this season, so forget everything you know about combing those lashes to perfection and embrace the clumps. Good news for when you get to the end of your mascara tube!
