So, how do you import a product CSV? Here are a few steps.
In Shopify Admin, go to the Products page and click the word “Import” located under the page title. This will open a window where you can choose a file to upload.
Click on the “Choose File” button to access files and select the CSV you want to upload. Click “Upload File” to close the window and the file details – product, product type, and description – should be displayed. If all of the information is correct, you can click “Start Import” to begin the import process.
The import process typically takes less than five minutes depending on the size of the file. Once the import is complete, the imported products should appear in the store with all descriptions, variants and thumbnail images displayed. At this point, you can begin building the theme of the store using real data and images and begin to test all variations.
