A new head of partnerships, designer and more incredible coding talent

The beginning of 2018 has been a busy time for us here in Gran Canaria.

Along with the many new projects we have lined up for the first half of the year, our Sprint Team Assist program has really taken off – with more than 25 Secret Source developers and managers now permanently, or semi-permanently, embedded in client companies across the UK and Europe.

To meet the growing demand for Nearshore Outsourcing, we’ve recruited more great talent to the Secret Source bench and wanted to take this opportunity to introduce our new colleagues.

Graphic designer Silvia Nasaudean joined us in January, swapping her position at a leading Japanese IT provider for the year round sunshine of Gran Canaria. She’s worked with leading brands, including Nike, Virgin, The Body Shop and British Airways.

Get in touch with us here, if you’d like to know more about our design services.

With a degree in Marketing & Web design, backed up with hands on business experience in Australia and the UK, Matthew Lloyd has been in Las Palmas for almost 2 years. Before joining Secret Source – as our new Head of Partnerships – Matt enjoyed spells in charge of business development at digital agency Golley Slater and software firm Box UK.

Israel Hernández is a hugely experienced web developer and a valued addition to our C# team. He’s been coding for more than 16 years, the last five of which he’s devoted to C# .Net and ASP .Net – specialising in intuitive website and Android app design.

Iraida Artiles joined us as an intern while she was still studying at the highly acclaimed University of Las Palmas and proved such a valuable member of our WordPress team we just couldn’t let her go. After agreeing to extend her spell at Secret Source, Iraida has split her time between our rapid development team and work on a new social media plugin.

Another recruit from the island’s excellent university IT faculty is Mack Yao Fu, who’s extended his period with us. Mack’s talents lie in Ruby on Rails, where’s he’s already produced some incredible work for our clients.

Also reaching the end of his studies, Antonio Djigo is our latest addition, splitting his time between our Android and CSS/JS teams. While he’s only been coding for 2 years, Antonio’s experience in game development and knowledge of Machine Learning made him a natural fit for us.

Thinking about building a new website or app? Need to supplement your team for their next IT project? Or simply looking for a reliable provider to manage your tech?

Maybe it’s time to consider the advantages of nearshore outsourcing.

Get in touch, we’ll be happy to show you why so many British companies are choosing Secret Source as their development partner.
