Stitch swatch Number two and three have now been joined to become a new number two. I chopped a bit off I wasn't happy with, joining the two pieces with a white and pink French knot seam. It's better, I'm happy. A greyish, silverish piece of silk has been added in the form of a ''bumpy bit'' along with a strip of floral print which has a beaded loop edge. 

It's a delight to work on these unplanned pieces, to just add whatever I want in whatever cloth, colour, technique I want. Number three has been started too.....think cross stitch, vintage scraps and octagons......
