Cheech Marin or Richard Anthony “Cheech” Marin is well known as a director, actor, writer, and voice actor. What many don’t know about him is that he is the owner of the most renowned collection of Chicano Art in the entire United States. How impressive is that? This past month has been a huge month for both Marin, the city of Riverside, and the Riverside Art Museum. The city of Riverside has decided to move forward with plans to build a public place to display all of Marin’s collection. Marin’s collection includes over 700 paintings, sculptures, and photos.
