With the horrible events that happened in Charlottesville last week, we could all use a little joy in our lives. We here at Logojoy have been so inspired by the brave people protesting against discrimination and raising money for organizations fighting for peace. We want to do whatever we can to provide support to the people fighting for equal rights. As such, we are happy to announce that we are launching our Building a Joyful World campaign.

Building a Joyful World is an initiative where Logojoy will be donating free logo design services and design support to all anti-discrimination organizations and charities around the world. Starting August 18, 2017, we hope to help global peace groups get their messages across using powerful, accessible designs.

The initiative was inspired by an advocate’s purchase of a logo for an anti-hate rally in Oshawa, Canada. When our CEO, Dawson Whitfield, caught wind of the logo being made, he decided we should do something to help. He thought the best move would be to refund the purchase immediately. We also offered further design support to them, so they could use their money to go further with their movement instead. From that point, we realized there are probably many other people looking to set up these grassroots campaigns and we would be able to proactively help with their logos.

The campaign gives Logojoy the opportunity to give back to the community and support people who need it. We are happy to provide logos to people who are prioritizing doing the right thing and making the world a better place for everyone. All anti-discrimination organizations and charities who want to use Logojoy for their initiative will receive a free enterprise package. This means full logo creation, direct designer support, the logo in many formats, and more.
