The indie will arrive this year to PC, Mac and mobile
For years we know that Edmund McMillen, one of the creators of Super Meat Boy, is working on a new project called The Legend of Bum-bo. Unfortunately, most of the details about him remained secret for a long time. The good thing is that that changed today as its developers let us see it for the first time in a video gameplay.
In the preview that was released on YouTube, the development team shows us the introduction of The Legend of Bum-bo, which presents the humour that has characterized previous McMillen projects. However, the most interesting thing is that we can take a look at their game system and finally understand what this creative team has been cooking.
As you can see, The Legend of Bum-bo is a role-playing game whose combat mechanics are linked to a game of connecting 4. This is so since the power of your attacks will depend on the icons that you join in the puzzle panel that will appear at the bottom of the screen.
