Relegations are a set of games before the official start of the season that determines which teams will make it into the SPL. Six teams from each region, Bottom 3 from the Fall 2016 Split and top 3 from Open Brackets, play each other in a round-robin best-of-one tournament to earn points. The top three teams from each region can move on to the SPL.

North American Teams

The games will be broadcast on HiRez’ Twitch Channel at 1:00 pm EST on the following dates:
- Europe – Saturday, February 11th
- North America – Sunday, February 12th
