BioWare has released a new Gameplay Trailer (Part 1) for Mass Effect: Andromeda, which you can watch above.

With over five minutes of footage and commentary, the video provides a great understanding of what the game will be like and how it differs from other games in the series.

One feature that looks particularly exciting is the jump-jet, which gives players more maneuverability than Previous Games. The commentary also talks about an improved cover system. This looks promising, but we’ll reserve judgement until we’ve play the game.

For the first time, players will be able to choose from a range of melee weapons, without class restrictions. I’m personally looking forward to taking on my enemies up close with an Asari Sword.

We also get a detailed look at the skill trees and how they can be customised. The assault turret looks particularly cool.

TL;DW: Mass Effect: Andromeda continues to look amazing

On the whole, it seems that BioWare has kept the gameplay that we know and love from the previous games, while adding some features to improve the experience. If the team can develop a storyline and characters that are as engrossing as the previous games, Mass Effect: Andromeda will be absolutely amazing.
