The much awaited Movie of the year “Endhiran” was originally scheduled to be released on September 3.But to the disappointment of the millions of fans worldwide, it is now rumored that the release date is being postponed to September 24. The movie is a star studded one with Shankar as the director, Super Star Rajini as hero and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as heroine, A.R.Rahman as the Music director. The budget for this flickis a whooping 200 crores. With this budget, Endhiran is the costliest Tamil film ever made.
The delay is due to the last minute patch works. A source was quoted saying “Endhiran has 1500 graphical shots – a record in Indian cinema. If a movie has heavy graphics works like this, obviously it would be delayed”
Endhiran is reported to be released in over 2000 screens worldwide. The music for the film has already been released and the music sales has surpassed all the previous records for a tamil album.
