Once again we attended this event as ‘Official Press’ thanks to Showmasters !!!!
Held at the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena the home of South Wales geekery – during the 23rd & 24th of September 2017.

Cosplay is usually a massive part of this event and this year was no different with a dedicated cosplay zone and cosplay stage hosting several talks and a masquerade competitions.

It was great to see some guest comic artists back to the event this year how-ever this was not a full-blown return of the comic zone that has appeare
There was not many movie vehicles and prop replicas for attendees to snap a Photo with this year how-ever there was a life-size 1980s Tardis green screen photo shoots (with or without either of the ‘Doctor’ actors attending!)
As per usual there was a vast range of stalls selling a wide variety of merchandise with everything with comics and toys to cosplay weapons, belt buckles and bath bombs! There was also an official ‘Silent Auction’ with a number of signed goodies available for attendees to bid on. Here are a few of our personal purchases and autographs.
Overall;
There was a steady turn-out for the Cardiff event this year (we attended on the Sunday) and the guest line-up was a little bit lacking compated Previous Years due to a few guest . Attendees were not how-ever put off and even had reasonable weather for the weekend..
The crew (who are mainly volunteers) were friendly and helpful as always. The con seemed to run very smoothly and efficiently.
This was a fun event as usual and we can’t wait for the next one !!!!
