Mehcad Jason McKinley Brooks, born October 25, 1980, in Texas, is an American actor that is currently famous for his role in “Supergirl” as Jimmy Olsen. Alongside this role, he has already made into the series “Desperate Housewives” in the second season, “The Game”, “True Blood” and the TV series “Necessary Roughness”.

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, he began his early career as an underwear model for the company Calvin Klein. He started being a model at the age of fifteen.

It took some time for Mehcad Brooks to realize that he wanted to act on movies, and after a few years, he made his first appearance in a TV serie called “Do Over” (2002) and, later in the same year, “Malcolm in the Middle” (2002). But things weren’t so bright, he actually only made into one episode in both shows.

Things got brighter when he got a side role during 4 episodes of “Boston Public” (2003), as Russel Clark, but was only after his role in “Desperate Housewives” (2005-2006) that his career took a turn.
