Big Brother 19: Week 4 Recap (Thursday)

Disclaimer: This post contains spoilers for episode eleven of Big Brother 19 after the jump! Everything down below are my personal opinions. I am in no way affiliated with any corporation, especially CBS and Big Brother. Thank you to CBS for the images, especially for the one shown above that will be framed above my bed.

Sometimes I sit down and think to myself what I did to deserve this season of Big Brother. It's unlike anything I've ever seen on any of these types of competition/garbage reality shows in the past. I don't know how the producers got away with it, but it's as if they just plucked these hoes straight out of the deepest pits of hell and just threw them into a House together. Pool, bitch? Mark threw a concoction in Josh's face because the hoe cheated at pool? Sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself. We're not there yet but trust me, bitch, we're going to get there.

Post-VETO CEREMONY
Jason doesn't use the power of veto and, if anything, I'm just pissed to see the satisfied expression on that hot comb, head ass' face (Paul). Jessica is perfectly fine with Dominique going off on everyone because she's clearly the target this week, as Paul's slithering bitch ass whispers in her ear when he goes to hug her. Elena showed her entire ass when she started talking shit behind Dominique's back, thinking she didn't hear her, and completely rejecting the idea of having a conversation with her. She left the situation thinking she was the bigger person, but she wasn't. If she was the bigger person she would have sat down and had a conversation with Dominique. I guess she thinks the only way to hash things out with someone is to yell in their face. If she was actually mature, if she was actually the bigger person, and if she actually had something worth substance to say, she would have said it to Dominique's face. But she didn't. She did what she's been doing the whole season: hiding behind the safety net of having a team, instead of actually working to solidify her place in the house. You're so tough, Elena. You're so tough, riding that dick bicycle to the finale.

THE POOL FIGHT
As I said before: pool, bitch? The guys in the house play pool, with the loser having to chug pickle juice and hot sauce. Josh spends the entire game verbally taunting Mark, trying to get him to mess up. Up until this point, Mark is keeping his cool but he was obviously holding in all that anger because the second that he even thought Josh cheated he unleashed the spirits of 1,000 bulldogs. I don't know pool, so I don't have a dog in this fight, but Josh "double-hit" and scratched the eight ball which sent Mark into an absolute fury. Everyone else had much calmer responses, but the consensus was that Josh cheated. Alright. Fine, whatever. It's pool. I repeat, it's pool. Billiards. I will start this off by saying that Josh was being completely immature, and unreasonable, refusing to even admit the possibility of him cheating. Mark comes clean, the fuck out of nowhere and throws the mixture of pickle juice and hot sauce straight at Josh's face. Currently, if we're keeping score, Mark is in the wrong right now. Josh emerges from the house with ketchup and mayo and squirts it all over Mark. I'm thinking all hell is about to break loose, but instead of blowing up on him again, Mark tries to lighten the mood by hugging Josh (still covered in the ketchup and mayo) It looks to be a cute moment where all is forgiven: no. Josh doesn't know how to take a joke and refuses to hug him, complaining that he has hot sauce in his eyes. Out of nowhere, Josh's volume meter is turned up to about a 270 percent then the other guys come to break it up. It looks like the pool fight is finally over! No. Josh says in a confession earlier in the episode that when the guys play pool it's a social game, not a competition game, inferring that they should be kept separate. As he's walking away, he turns back around and begins shouting at Mark that he's the one who goes back on his words and that he could open up a can of worms to sink his game in the house and then they start yelling at each other some more. Josh is yelling about being a man, Mark is still yelling about the pool game and all of it makes absolutely no sense. Mark goes back to change and Josh goes into the pool so the fight is finally over! No! At this point, even Julie Chen is shaking her fucking head.

The pool fight turns into an actual pool fight. Dominique asks Josh what's wrong, and his response is "If you can't take it, don't dish it." Josh, baby. You literally JUST threw something on Mark and couldn't handle him hugging you, covered in mayo and ketchup. You are not the one to be throwing around those kind of statement. You are not. Mark comes over to apologize for him and Josh, being the common seven year old that he is, doesn't even let him finish his apology before he calls Mark "disrespectful" and tell him that he isn't a man of his word because he was plotting to get Paul out of the house. For the record, to the best of my knowledge, Mark was not plotting to get Paul out. Mark did know that Cody had it out for Paul, and was probably going to back door him,  but Mark has said from day one that he likes Paul. The veins in Mark's biceps begun to enlarge, so he walked out at the perfect time. As usual, Josh is surrounded by a bunch of people while he is incoherently putting words together that make no sense while he's shouting at the top of his lungs. I'm surprised his vocal chords haven't committed suicide yet. Dominique is nodding her head as Josh tells Paul that he has the balls to say "Paul, I'm coming after you" if he was actually coming after him. Paul calls her out and Dominique, in the most Christian way, tells him to shut the fuck up and pay attention to Josh. Jessica adds fuel to the fire by telling Josh that HIS word means nothing, and gives an example, which is funny (because anything to discredit Josh at this point is great) but stupid because she could have very well just put a target on her back.

DEN OF TEMPTATION
Speaking of Jessica, bitch, who voted for her to get the Temptation this week? Although she's bearable to watch now, as long as she doesn't mention any words that start with the letter C, I still don't support it! I wish there was more time to have seen the downfall of Dominique, because if we had a full week of that, I'm sure she would have gotten it because she really needed it. The temptation this week is the ability to stop any eviction ceremony by reciting some spell. Seeing how ridiculous this whole week has gotten, I would have loved to see Jessica use the temptation this week. Jessica and Dominique would be safe, Cody (assuming he wins the battle back, which he most definitely will) would be back in the house so they could all form an alliance against Paul and shift the house a little. But, spoiler alert, she doesn't.

EVICTION CEREMONY
I was so excited to see Jessica stand up and cast a spell on the ceremony. Even Julie sounded like she started speaking a little slower to give Jessica a longer opportunity to say the spell, but she didn't because I'm guessing she assumed the entire house was going to vote against Dominique. After Dominique wrote a diss poem  and presented it to the house, I would feel pretty safe too. Everyone votes to eliminate Dominique. Literally everyone. Every single body. They're lucky she's a good Christian because I would have taken a pair of boxing gloves from behind the couch and started fighting.

DOMINIQUE: "Philosophy outside of the house."
Dominique validated my recent love for her when she said, without saying, I love God but even God isn't enough for me to make piece with such a fecal matter of the human being. I said in an earlier post that Dominique was playing an excellent game. Up until her "talk show," she was flying under the radar and going with the flow of the house (something Matt, Raven and Kevin have stuck to). I respect her personality flip the second her character came into question because she played the type of petty game I would have played. Calling bitches out every chance she got, trying to get slime balls (cough, Elena) to talk to her instead of behind her back and not taking any shit from anybody. It got her in the end, but Dominique stood up for herself and didn't sacrifice herself to win the show and that is to be commended. One of the reasons why there are so many floaters in the house, or as Cody would put it "no alphas", is because the second someone stands up and uses their mouth to speak out they are evicted. It's sad, but you can't say the producers haven't done everything in their power to keep the drama going (the battle back and Jessica's temptation this week).

EPISODE GRADE: A-
Stray notes:
-If Jason ever thought in his rodeo clown life he could yank me to whisper something in my ear, when we're in a room alone together, like he did Alex he would have another thing coming to him. I don't know if Alex really wanted an Oreo or she wanted to get away from Jason's clutches, but sis was trying to free herself from his grasp.

-When Paul jumped in to raise his hand and told Dominique that she was speaking to the room, the proper response was either "I was speaking to the humans, not Kaa" or "I was speaking to the people in the house who didn't lie straight to my face."

-Jessica is so lucky that amoung the four first evicted house guest, Cody (or Dominique) were the strongest candidates to come back. Elena and Raven basically said to her face that even though Dom was the target this week, we're probably coming after you soon, bitch.

-Josh tells Mark, repeatedly, at the top of his lungs that he has no respect for Mark. When he tries to come at Mark telling him the exact opposite, Mark stops him dead in his tracks and it was the funniest thing of the whole episode. Well, after this:

-Take a shot (of bleach) every time Josh says "as a man."
