Abandoned Episode 4 Recap

As the 4th Episode gets underway, the sentinel carries Madison (Isabella Martin) through the forest. She manages to fight back. Unfortunately, Madison goes tumbling down an embankment. She winds up with a huge cut on her leg. After the intro, Madison comes to her senses. She tries to scream for help, but her cries go unanswered. She inspects her wound and tries to stop the bleeding. She uses a branch to help her walk, but it soon snaps in half.

Madison makes it through the night. In a flashback, she remembers Russell teaching her how to fight. Russell doesn’t hold back. He puts a decent beating on her. Madison wakes up again. She spots a man near the sentinel. She calls out for help. Sadly, the man isn’t there to help. He immediately struggles to remove Madison’s pants. Out of nowhere, the man is struck down by several arrows. Soon, Madison wakes up in makeshift tent. Her leg has been patched. She crawls outside and finds a machete. She takes it with the intention of fighting off her savior.

Madison confronts the man. She soon finds out that his name is Cain (Joe Davidson). He isn’t there to hurt her. He does his best to convince Madison to trust him. He offers her some food. She likes the food, but not the coffee. The couple discuss their pasts. Madison pretends that she is with a huge group of warriors. Cain admits it is nice to speak with a normal person for a change. He promises to help her find her group, after she is fully healed. Madison asks about the seagull. Cain takes her to the beach, so she can see one for herself.

They enjoy their time at the beach, as their relationship begins to develop. The episode ends as they run across the beach together.

Abandoned Review

This episode of Abandoned was much different than the previous ones. It focused on Madison and her loneliness. There wasn’t a whole lot of action, but the episode was intriguing nevertheless. Cain seems like the perfect chap. He arrived just in time to save Madison and he was the perfect gentleman. Nevertheless, it seems that something fishy may be going on.

Can Cain be trusted? If he even real? Perhaps he is a figment of Madison’s imagination to help her overcome her current trouble? I am eager to find out! Can’t wait for the next episode to be released. The episode scores a solid 8 out of 10. Catch up with previous recaps of Abandoned right now!
