Lupita Nyong'o, the latest academy Award winner -for her debut feature film might I add- is one of the most talked about Fashion icons today.
Born in Mexico and of Kenyan descent, the beautiful and charismatic Lupita attended Hampshire College and later obtained an MFA in the Yale School of Drama.
From a red Ralph Lauren to a turquoise Gucci, the versatile fashionista isn't afraid of color or cut-outs. And there is no doubt that she can do it all!
Lupita wore a beautiful pleated mint Grecian gown designed especially for her by none-other than the household fashion brand: Prada.
In the red carpet, the lovely Star of 12 years a Slave spoke to the the always fashionable E! correspondant, Ryan Secreast, and said..
"This gown was made for me, it's a blue that reminds me of Nairobi,
so I wanted to have a little bit of home"
