Isabella Evelyn Bass arrived Thursday, February 15th at 1:58 pm measuring 18 ¾ inches long and weighing 6 lbs., 8oz.
Carly Waddell, 32, shared the first pic of her new family addition on her Instagram. Pictured is Evan leaning over Carly from her hospital bed while she’s holding newborn Isabella. Evan Bass and Carly are beaming with happiness and precious Isabella is fast asleep.
Y’all – she’s perfect. Isabella Evelyn Bass. My heart is toast. Like toast with jelly cuz my dang heart is shook. I love her I love everyone I love love. Thanks for the encouraging words. (Also, hahaha can ya believe this is even happening. Who would’ve thought?!?)
Carly Waddell gave her Bachelor Nation fans an update, “We are so happy to announce the birth of sweet Isabella Evelyn Bass. She weighs 6lbs 8 ounces and has currently stolen her dad’s heart. The birth was amazing with no complications and I’m high over the moon with happiness,” she went on to joke, “also high from pain meds.”
Proud new dad Evan shared a few pictures on his social media from Isabella’s big day. One picture is of Evan, Carly, and Isabella along with Evan’s three sons from a previous relationship.
Evan, 35, can hardly write into words how he’s feeling, “Y’all-she’s perfect. Isabella Evelyn Bass. My heart is toast. Like toast with jelly cuz my dang heart is shook. I love her I love everyone I love love. Thanks for the encouraging words. (Also, hahaha can ya believe this is evening happening. Who would’ve thought?!?)
Bass also gave details from the day in a statement revealing, “It was a perfect birth, no problems at all! We were supposed to induce her today but Carly’s water broke 15 minutes before our alarm went off so Bella is setting her own birthday. Carly is recovering well and the baby has had her eyes open for hours. I cried a lot during the birth! We are smitten and cannot stop kissing, cuddling and adoring her.”
The pair found out when on their honeymoon that they were expecting. Waddell recalled when they found out the news, “It was a great surprise, it’s a great little miracle.”
