If you have turned on the Force resolution mode on HBO, then it will automatically switch the video quality to normal from HD if the signal strength is poor.

You just need to open the favorite content on HBO from your laptop or computer browser and install the plugin named ‘HBO force resolution’. This allows the HBO to change the Resolution to 360p from 1080p in case of a problem with the network.

3. Sling Box: You can purchase SlingBox and enjoy content from Home DVR while on vacation. If you have Dish network with DVR, then you will get in-built Sling. You can save the data in DVR and watch it while you are on vacation. This is the easiest and economical way of watching HBO content outside the US. Don’t forget to start recording the show before going out of your home, otherwise, you will not be able to watch it.
