The Pageantry Awards 2018 Best Pageant Winner

Winner is Manushi Chillar (Miss World 2017)

India’s sixth Miss World winner is 2017’s Best Pageant Winner.

Manushi Chillar is a classic Indian Beauty, charismatic, elegant, and articulate. She comes from the mold of the legendary Indian beauty queens who ruled the 90s and early 2000s.

Manushi’s victory came to no surprise after she gave a heartfelt answer to the final question. Her victory gave Miss World new platform to voice its causes and a reinvigorated popularity in the Indian sub-continent.

Runner-up is Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters (Miss Universe 2017)

An early favorite in the competition, Demi-Leigh cemented her status when she breezed her way to all rounds of competition.

She looked sassy and sweet during the swimsuit round, elegant in Evening Gown, and spontaneous yet articulate during the interview rounds.

Demi came close to winning the Best Pageant Winner, with Manushi edging by a little more points from our judges.

Highly Commended is Maria Jose Lora (Miss Grand International 2017)

Peru’s first winner in Miss Grand International, Maria is a formidable candidate. She was the top choice of fans after the preliminary competition and sealed the deal with her amazing evening gown performance.

It was only the Speech Round that could make or break her victory. But she surely nailed the said round and clinched the crown, succeeding Indonesia’s Ariska Putri Pertiwi.
