Here are some June events in your neighborhood that you wouldn’t want to miss!

Wells Street Art Fair

Held on June 9 and 10 in the prestigious Old Town; the Wells Street Art Fair is the best way to start your summer. Come join the other 50,000 in attendance to see various art pieces from 225 different juried artists from across the continent. With 20+ food and drink vendors, musical entertainment and a childrens’ play area, there is no better way to kick of your summer.

Chicago’s Blues Festival

Held at Millennium Park on July 8-10, the Chicago’s Blues Festival is known as the largest free Blues Festival and the largest festival for Chicago. Come join the 500,000 in attendance to prove to the world that Chicago is the “Blues Capital of the World”. The Festivals spans over 3 days and has four different stages that have back to back concerts that you don’t want to miss out on.

Pride Parade

One of the most notable events in Chicago, the Pride Parade is one of the fastest growing events in Chicago. Held on June 24th, the Pride Parade is celebrating their 49th anniversary and has potential to be the biggest one yet. The celebration is centered in the heart of Boystown and expands down Broadway, Halsted, Belmont and Diversey. The Pride Fest is surrounded by some of the happiest people in the city and is an event that you shouldn’t skip on.

SNL: The Experience

Everyone has seen sketches on TV for Saturday Night Live, now it’s your opportunity experience it firsthand. NBC and Universal have teamed up with The Museum of Broadcast Communication to bring the SNL Experience to your front door. The exhibit is open every day of the week except for Monday and gives you all the right reasons to make it fit into your schedule.
