The Pesaro Film Festival (Mostra internazionale del Nuovo Cinema di Pesaro) is one of the most prominent and illustrious cinema festivals in Italy and it is well known around the world.
First started in 1965 by Lino Miccichè and Bruno Torri, the festival has always distinguished itself for the quality and originality of the material it showcases. Every year it focuses on a different country, promoting up-and-coming directors with a keen attention of new artistic trends.
The festival takes place in the month of June in different locations throughout the town among which its central square Piazza del Popolo. This year it will start on the 24th and finish on the 30th.
