Bonchon Korean Fried Chicken at Don Muang International Airport Bangkok

Have you heard of Bonchon Korean Fried chicken? It is a very popular Korean Fried Chicken chain in Thailand especially in Bangkok. From their website, they are available in quite a number of countries worldwide. While it claims to be from Korea, my Korean friends never heard of it. Most of my Korean friend told us that Kyochon fried chicken is probably the most popular fried chicken restaurant in Korea. Back in Thailand, you often see long queues in Bonchon Korean fried chicken outlets. It has established its brand name in Thailand. This reminds us about Tokyo Secret Cheese Tart which is originated from Hong Kong (and not Tokyo) and Malaysian brand Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart.

They have one outlet in Don Muang International Airport Bangkok. It is located in the food court so we went to check it out when we had a transit in the airport. You can find many other food in this food court too. It is located on 1^st floor of Don Muang International Airport and it is outside of the terminal.

There are variety of set meals available from THB 175 and above per set. They offer fried chicken wings and fried drumsticks, boneless chicken thigh, boneless chicken breasts and crispy fish. There are only two flavours available and it is garlic soy or spicy hot.

We ordered the drumstick set with two pieces of fried chicken, Japanese rice or sticky rice with a glass of Pepsi. The set is priced at THB 199 (Don Muang Airport price).

The chicken is deep fried to perfection. The skin is crispy and coated with the garlic soy sauce and the chicken is juicy and tender. No wonder the local Thais love it so much.
