Norwegian Cruise Line has just announced that there fleet is going to expand yet again with the order of 2 new Breakaway Plus cruise ships on order for delivery in 2018!

The 2 new ships will hold approximately 4,200 passengers and have a tonnage of 164,600.

The ships will be built at the famous Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany at a cost of around 1.6 billion.

The Norwegian Breakaway launched in April 2013,


 Followed by the Getaway earlier this year in January 2014,


There is then the Norwegian Escape due for delivery later in 2015 and the Norwegian Bliss for 2017. Plus the 2 new ships on order that have yet to be named.

This is a really exciting time for NCL cruises and the cruise industry as I really do feel Norwegian have the best ships at sea with innovative features, a huge array of restaurants, outstanding entertainment, spectacular pool areas with waterparks and more, the list really does go on!

I have persoanlly sailed on the NCL Epic, Breakaway and Getaway all in the past 12 months and can thoroughly recommend these amazing ships!

Norwegian cruise liner really do include so much more such as The Blue Man group, an amazing evening show that you would pay top dollar to see in Las Vegas! They have the Svedka Ice Bar, there is a small supplement to use this facility but this includes 2 vodka cocktails and you even have the joy of wearing the poncho provided! And one not to be missed is the Spiegel Tent, where you can dine on surf and turf whilst watching the most mesmerizing circus performance right next to your table! The highlight of my trip on the NCL Epic trip had to be the waterpark on the top deck, I spent hours up and down on the waterslides, great fun even for the young at heart!

I am sure the new additions to the fleet will have even more amazing facilities to wow there customers and I cannot wait to get on board!
