hello people.

i have been neglecting my poor little blog. which is silly really as i have exciting news - new bike people, new bike! yes the vfr had to go, with it's rock solid dependability and gentle trust, plus all day comfort, i knew early on that me and that bike we just going to be a passing fad. despite around a dozen people telling me to keep it, i had to change to something with a little more character.

so it's on to a blue and white suzuki GSXR750. it's a mad thing i can tell you. accelerates like a piano falling off a cliff. it's uncomfortable, leaning right over the tank with my knees just above my ears. i don't particularly like the looks or the colour. but piloting it is just out of this world, really.

so with a couple of commuter adjustments (an oiler to keep the chain fresh and heated grips), we are getting on well. plus it's small and nimble so i am able to get through even smaller gaps than the vfr allowed.

the pace of the bike is amazing. but my pace is not quite there yet. so at the moment we're still on the first date, being very careful until i feel the need and ability to rip it's knickers off.
