The average wedding cost for a US couple is $20,398 (50% more than what they typically budget for). This price is for a modest wedding, and does not include the engagement ring or the honeymoon! When you hear about couples springing for friends and family to accompany them to a tropical island for their dream wedding, you think CHA-CHING. They must either be rich, or they are creating a massive debt!
