Yay, it’s cow transport time!

Anyway, today’s funny travel photo is from my same friend who also sent through the Motorbikes for Kids pic where one motorbike can transport a family of five all around the place!

He’s been bumming around some small island in the Philippines for a while. I think he’s too scared to come back to ‘civilisation’ as I think he’s adapted to a much simpler form of life.

I can’t blame him – work is really overrated!

Tricycle Cow Transport!

Yep, a small motorised vehicle that is a vital transport link for people who don’t have a car or a motorbike.

Looks like the cow has the Tricycle all to itself!

Anyway, my friend did comment that ‘Cows must pay better than people because this cow has the tricycle to itself. They fit up to 9 people in these normally.’

Well, if this cow is about to become a source of sustenance, it would probably take some priority!

Hey, but this is the reality of getting by in the third world. As I’ve said many times on this silly blog, I admire these people who get by doing whatever they need to do to survive daily life.

It’s improvisation at it’s best. I’m sure us well off Westerners with first world problems like deciding which smart phone to by wouldn’t stand a chance of surviving in the third world conditions that most of the world’s population has to endure through no fault of their own – just because they were unlucky to be born there.

Anyway, this is an impressive photo – and good on to those who are trying to make a go of it in the Philippines.
