‘Run Boy Run’, as the stars shine bright and the moon gazes at you while drenching you in his golden resplendent light. Yes, it’s the countdown period for Sahas Night Marathon at Ramoji Film City to be held on January 19. Starting 8 pm and expecting a turnout of more than 1000 enthusiastic runners, the Night Marathon is held for the first time in the state of Telangana.

The daytime aura of Ramoji Film City has always been captured in a relaxed fashion as we strolled and stopped, rested and got rejuvenated experiencing the magic of cinema. For the first time under the lights, the grand marathon gives an opportunity to have delightful glimpses of the environs during the night. From youngsters raring to rock to the corporates having fun and finally the armed personnel at their professional best, Sahas Night Marathon promises to be a carnival with energies and excitement culminating at the best.

Don’t lose heart if miles and miles is not what you are made to run for, because the Marathon has multiple categories to choose from – 5k, 10k and 21k. It’s just another night and a day that separates the spirits from the celebrations. The arrangements are in place and the amenities are decked up! Clad in T-shirts, wearing caps and moving in a brigade, there cannot be a more unique manner in which the diverse landscapes of the Film City can be relished, and above all in the glorious moonlit night. Medical and refreshment facilities have also been readied. Those who complete the marathon will be given participation medals.

Since it is the curtain raiser moment, it may be sad to note that the registrations have closed owing to the overwhelming response. Nothing to be disappointed about, as the fun has just begun to appear big in its maiden form. Ramoji Film City is getting ready to offer more in the near future.
