Karbakeli Eco Trek


Karbakeli Eco Trek has been launched as a official new trekking trail in Nepal. The main highlight of the trekking trail will be the temple of the Pun Magar Community's chief God Karbakeli Baba situated at Ramche area of Annapurna rural municipality - 8. The trek provides the best views of mountains along with the pristine bounties of nature and alpine jungles.

The trekking route will start from Pokhara to Ghorepani, Poon Hill, Fulbari, Kafaldanda, Karbakeli and ends at Beni Bazaar of Myagdi district. During the trek, tourists will enjoy the sunrise views from Poon Hill before entering the thickets of jungle leading to Karbakeli. The wide views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Fishtail, Mt Gurja and Mt. Annapurna are clearly visible. The indigenous culture, festival and culture of the alpine villages are another highlight of the trek.

Karbakeli Baba temple is located at 2200m at kafaldanda and the locals are calling the authorities to promote it as an pilgrimage site and a best tourist place.

Karbakeli Eco Trek Itinerary

Day 01: Pokhara-Birethanti by jeep, Birethanti-Ulleri by walking
Day 02: Trek from ulleri to Ghorepani
Day 03: Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill-Phulbari-Karbakeli Than
Day 04: Karbakeli-Ramche-Nagi-Falamedanda
Day 05: Falamedanda-Mallaj-Beni trek, Beni-Pokhara by bus
