Jaswant Thada, Jodhpur – Taj Mahal of Mewar

History

This milky white marble cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, is situated a km away from the famous Mehrangarh Fort. The final resting place of many royal members was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh in 1899. Placed amidst of green trees and an alluring pond this mausoleum is very popular among travelers.
