Is a Vacation in Romania on your bucket list? Romania is authentic, stunning, complicated, very affordable – and not yet popular with tourists from western Europe and the USA.  In this article, I’d like to explore Romania’s best-known region – Transylvania.  This Romania trip itinerary covers a 5-day road trip through Transylvania.  We land in Bucharest, drive to Brasov, over to Sighisoara and Cluj-Napoca.  Then we head south to the most romantic city in Europe – Sibiu.  Each city in the Romanian itinerary is located within a reasonable driving distance of 4 hours or less.  Although I did the Romania Vacation in 6 days I think the itinerary would make a great 7 to 10-day trip.
