1. Take in the view of Cape Town from Table Mountain

Table Mountain, a flat-topped mountain, is an iconic site and undoubtedly Cape Town’s most visited site. If you think that the view of Table Mountain is breathtaking, wait till you’re literally standing on the mountain, looking over the widely spread Cape Town city and with two oceans (Indian and the Atlantic) on either side, it’s a view which you’ll have to see in real life to believe! If you plan to hike up to Table Mountain, you would have to pay a conservation fee of around USD 3.50 to 10 for adults and for children it would cost USD 2 to 5. But the easier way up is via the cableway. While here, in the vicinity you could also visit Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. This garden is known for its colourful plant life and stunning sculptures.

2. Visit Cape Winelands for Wine Tasting

The Cape Winelands is located at an hour’s drive from Cape Town in one of the most popular wine-producing region, Franschhoek. There are three popular vineyards namely, La Petite Ferme, Moreson and Haute Cabriere. Visitors can either opt for a private car if you need the liberty of hand-picking your spot or take the Franschhoek Wine Tram, which is an experience that takes you through various vineyards. The popular peninsula that separates the Atlantic Ocean and False Bay, Cape of Good Hope has miles and miles of serene walking trails with breathtaking views. This beach is one of the rarest of few where you could get close to the penguins and swim with them. However, not disturbing them is suggested. The warm waters of the Atlantic are inviting but the playful creatures add to the experience. Unfortunately, these penguins are on the verge of extinction. You can combine your Boulders Beach visit with Camps Bay, another beach. The beach is flanked by bustling cafes and buzzing bars, although swimming is not recommended here, the fun and friendly environment and the balmy outdoors is definitely worth it.
