My Trip To The Devil's Bedroom.

MY TRIP TO THE DEVIL'S BEDROOM,

Have you ever travelled to The Devil's Bedroom? At Hell's Gate National Park is where you find the Devils Bedroom. Hell's Gate National park is home to, Wild Buffalo's, Giraffes, Zebras, the crazy Baboons and lots of other wild animals. Not forgetting the amazing scenarios of Fischer Tower, The George Tower and Central Tower.
The name Hell’s Gate was coined by 19th century, explorers Fischer and Thomson in 1883 in relation to a door in the gorge which leads down to a boiling cauldron of molten rock, also known as Hell’s Kitchen. The towers were formed as a result of volcanic eruptions at base of Mt Longonot, which are now the parks favourite climbing sites.
Mr Koroi one of the Tour guards, assisted us(me and my squad) to climb the towers, it wasn't a nice experience since I was very exhausted. We went ahead to cycle our bikes till we arrived the entry point to the Devils bedroom.
It was quite scary walking down the gorge, remembering the horror movie I watched last night (lol the big Python clawing from the rock Ooh!! No,) I made sure I was very close to Mr Koroi(The tour guard) in case of anything I could jump right to him for protection.
The rocks where so wet and slippery I had to be very careful to avoid an injury, The gigantic rats around the cave could jump on my shoulder celebrating a new visitors around their home(lol!!) that was so crazy!.
Around the Hell's Kitchen the water was so hot due to the molten rock and assumed magma down the rock. My college's decided to have a nice public shower from the warm water sprinkled by rocks(ha aha). This was to much fun thanks, to mother nature. Finally we arrived at the Devils bedroom.
Strange as it sounds, flocks of tourist visit the Devils bedroom both for scare and experience. This is a cave at the bottom of the walls of the gorge where carcasses and skeletons of animals swept away by floods are smashed against rocks.
The park has a history of disaster to, some group of individuals died and others injured while visiting the park. When visiting the park make sure you stay safe and enjoy your trip.
