How to reach Shirdi
Shirdi is about 300 km from Mumbai, Maharashtra, 5 hours journey by personal cab/car, 9 hours journey by local buses (Local buses facility is readily available from almost every major station of Mumbai like Boriwali, Mahim, Bhayandar), and 6-7 hours journey by train.
Similarly, one can opt to reach Shirdi via Pune and Nasik also by Car, Bus or trains.
Accomodation
If you plan to stay at Shirdi, there are plenty of hotels, guest houses and lodges available near Sai temple only, which can be booked online or can be booked there only.
Food Restaurants
You can find many nice restaurants with delicious food serving outside Sai Baba temple. No need to worry about lunch or dinner there.
Shani Shinganapur
Shani Shinganapur is some 65-70 km from Shirdi, a famous temple of Lord Shani Dev. The place is also famous as people living there have no doors at their homes and living peacefully without any theft.
If you are visiting Shirdi from Mumbai, you can plan Shirdi and Shani Shinganapur in one day starting early from Mumbai and get back by night or can stay overnight at Shirdi and get back next day if you are not tight on your schedule.
