This lake is the largest inland salt water lake which is located at a distance of 86 kms from Jaipur on National Highway 8.This lake is the prime source of salt production in Rajasthan. Another reason why this place holds relevance is because thousands of migratory birds frequent this site during winter months. You will easily spot a flamingo which has come here from Northern Asia. The lake water has striking color due to specialized algae as well as bacteria which grow here. Also, you can see some amazing wildlife in nearby forests such as Nilgai, deer and foxes.

Bhangarh – Most Haunted Place in India

The historic ruins of Bhangarh are as a matter of fact considered as one of the scariest places in the world. What’s more entry to Bhangarh is restricted post sunset. This notice has been issued by Archaeological Survey of India. Bhangarh was built in 1573 during rule of Jaipur ruler Bhagwant Das. This pre historic place has some very popular building such as Hindu Mandir of shiv, Gopinath, Ganesh, Hanuman, Keshav Rai and Lavina Devi.

Abhaneri – City of Brightness

Abhaneri or ‘city of brightness’ is located on Jaipur Agra highway at a distance of just 98 kilometers from Jaipur city. This place is popular due to Harshat Mata temple which was built way back in eighth century. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Harshat Mata. Then there is Chanda baoli step well which is the largest stepped well in India. This well was primarily built to promote water conservation during rainy season.
