On Sunday the 11th February, in Fortezza da Basso in Florence will take place the wine fair “Chianti Lovers”. More than 100 Chianti wine producers going to taste their products to professionals and fans of this drink.

In Tuscany, the Wine isn’t only a drink, but it’s a secular passion that has been past down for generations; and this factor has meant that this region became the most famous area of wine culture. Chianti area, indeed, it’s a legend for wine fans and the grapes cultivation has transformed the landscape turning it unique.
Wine lovers visiting Tuscany can also travel on the “Strada del vino e dell’olio” (wine and extra virgin olive oil road): a route through nine villages of Chianti area where visitors can stop to taste and buy some typical products directly from producers.

On Sunday the 11th February, more than 100 of these producers will meet in Fortezza da Basso in Florence to present to professionals about 500 wine variety of 2017 and of the “old wine” of 2015.
From 9.30 am the fair will be opened only for professionals, but from 4 pm stands will be open to everyone. Entrance ticket costs 15 euros.
